Radio Information Service
A Pittsburgh-based radio reading service that broadcasts the reading of print materials for people who have vision problems or who have difficulty reading or holding standard print material, due to other disabilities or frailty.

Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (LBPH)
Provides on free loan recorded books and magazines, equipment to play the recordings, large print books, and described videos. Western Pennsylvania residents of any age who are unable to read standard print materials because of a visual disability, physical disability, or physically-based reading disability may be eligible to receive this service. Materials are mailed to the borrower's home in postage-free containers. This service is part of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS).
